Heat Pumps
Energy-Efficient Alternative
Brooks Energy continually trains and makes themselves more knowledgeable in the latest heating/cooling/energy efficient technologies on the market today. Climates with moderate heating and cooling needs such as CT, heat pumps offer an energy-efficient alternative to furnaces and air conditioners.
Run the Numbers
The most common type of heat pump is an air-source heat pump, which through electricity transfers heat between your house and the outside air. If you heat with electricity, a heat pump can reduce the amount of electricity you use for heating as much as 30%-40%. Because heat pumps move heat rather than generate heat, they can provide up to 4 times the amount of energy they consume.
For more information about choosing, operating or maintaining your heat pump please contact Brooks Energy, we’d be happy to help.
