In 1989, Diane and Mark Brooks started Brooks Oil Service Inc in Terryville, CT.
Brooks Oil Service also known as Brooks Energy is a full service oil company, which supplies service and installation of heating and air conditioning systems. The Brooks Family started with one single customer and has grown to service 3000+ loyal customers to date.
In 2005, they bought the shop, in which they still remain today on 1 Canal St. located on Terryville / Bristol line. In 2010, the Brooks Family wanted to provide their customers with a cost effective alternative to fuel oil. Propane emerged as a new service, which gave their customers heating equipment up to 98% efficiency.
The Brooks Family was heavily involved in the Soap Box Derby (1996 – 2003), Exchange Club (2005), UNICO Polish Club and remains heavily involved with business networking groups such as BNI, TAB, BBB, Central CT Chamber, ICPA, CVMA and PERK.
Mark Brooks attended four years at Bristol Eastern High School, graduated in 1983, and went onto another four years to Prince Tech in Hartford, CT. He holds S-1 Unlimited Heating and cooling license, SM-1 sheet metal license, refrigerant license, as well as Commercial drivers license. Mark has attended 100’s of training and certificate courses and continues to stay up on the latest equipment and technology to benefit the long-term needs for his customers.
